Has anyone seen this when turning on their Fire Tv stick before? I hadn't used it in a few months simply decided to mess with it Saturday night. At kickoff, turning it on gave me a blank screen. I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in to the wall then it showed a screen with the Amazon logo, then a Burn TV logo popped on the screen immediately followed by the screen above. So I let it sit down for the 10 or and so minutes and goose egg happened. The stick wasn't responsive to the remote and so I even tried swapping the batteries...still nix. I rebooted several times with no luck. I even left it on overnight to see if it but needed time, but in that location was no change to the screen.
I Googled the issue and it seems as though information technology'due south also a trouble on Burn tablets. I tried anything I could notice regarding resetting a stick with no luck. Has anyone else seen this outcome? If and then, any luck getting the stick working again? The stick has never been sideloaded with Kodi or other apps similar that. Anything on it was downloaded directly from the Amazon app store FWIW. I have a feeling I'm simply going to have to supercede this thing.

I've seen that screen when trying to run it using the USB in the tv rather than plugging directly into the wall. The screen would "complete" and and then it would cycle right back and practise it again. I took information technology out of the tv set and plugged it back in and used the wall power and it worked fine. Endeavour information technology on a different tv maybe and see what happens.

I had the same issue and had to return mine. Tried different ports, different power cords and got the aforementioned result. Amazon replaced for me.

I'll attempt that. It was initially plugged into a surge protector when I starting time got information technology to plough on. So I plugged it directly into the wall and had the same event. I do have the stick actually plugged directly into my XBox One and admission it through that automobile. It worked fine when I first set it upward this fashion. I don't accept any other open HDMI ports on my Tv so this made the most sense for me. I'll try and connect straight to the TV in the front end room as well as another room to see if that makes any sort of difference.

Side question but have you establish a good way to do this with OUT using two remotes? I take the aforementioned setup but with an amazon burn TV stuck in the HDMI IN of the xbox one. My issue is that my harmony remote controls the Xbox merely I'k forced to use the Amazon Fire remote if we swap over to HDMI in through the Tv set Guide app.
First world problems, I know, but still annoying.

I haven't ever looked into information technology. I would flip the TV to the correct input with the TV remote, plough on the XBox with my controller and get to the Telly app and then utilize the Fire TV remote after.

Similar to what I accept to practice just just looking to simplify and only use 1 remote. I just think information technology'southward currently incommunicable.

There is a recovery mode for FireTV simply you need a usb keyboard plugged into information technology to execute the commands.

I read over thatlink earlier today, just it seems that they're talking well-nigh the Fire Television box and not the stick.

My stick is nigh two weeks quondam. Not rooted, but with kodi, and started having issue stuck on optimizing loop, then on reboot loop non even getting that far. I advisedly moved information technology to dissimilar television set'south about 15 times earlier this issue. What stock-still the trouble for me was unplugging the little HDMI extension that came with the stick. Worked correct away plugging directly in to tv without that, and have'nt had that trouble since.

This is an older thread, only in example someone, like me, happens upon this link looking for the Answer, I have information technology. Permit the "
Approximately 10 minutes" progress bar go to the terminate,in one case information technology comes to the stop of its progress printing and HOLD the Habitation button on your FireStick remote. Like shooting fish in a barrel Peasy, worked the first time, every fourth dimension.
Once your issue is resolved, please vote upward my reply so that others may find the resolution. Thank you mate
